About the role#
Systems Engineer Co-ops work directly with an experienced project team in the facilities services industry. You will be assigned specific tasks based on project requirements and your individual capabilities, gaining hands-on experience throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings.
- Compile submittal and procurement documentation for controls and instrument hardware.
- Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians and inspect completed control enclosures.
- Participate in design review meetings, assemble development systems, and configure user interfaces, HMI screens, and control algorithms.
- Draft system documentation and assist with customer demonstrations and acceptance testing.
- Install project software and configuration onto site systems during onsite startup.
- Perform point-to-point loop checks, instrumentation calibration, and functional system tests.
- Troubleshoot installation discrepancies and program field modifications.
- Assist in developing commissioning plans and operations and maintenance training documentation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Industrial, or Civil Engineering.
- Full-time student status with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Passion for problem solving and developing technical solutions.
- Authorization to work in the United States without RoviSys sponsorship.

- Compensation: $24 per hour.
