About the role#
This is a 9-week summer internship based in New York. You will work directly with the investment team at Rothesay Asset Management North America. The program offers hands-on experience across multiple asset classes, including Public Finance, US Residential Mortgages, Commercial Real Estate, Infrastructure and Power, US Private Placements, and Liquid Corporate Credit. You will gain exposure to the firm through rotational work, training sessions, and collaboration with teams in both New York and London.
What you'll do#
- Prepare pitchbooks and perform spreadsheet analytics.
- Review term sheets and conduct data gathering.
- Assist the asset team with research for live deals.
- Perform qualitative analysis.
- Propose and present a trade idea to the investment team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a full-time finance, business, or economics program.
- Expected graduation in 2029, though graduate and masters students are also considered.
- A genuine interest in asset management and investing, particularly in fixed income.
- Strong time management and leadership skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team.
