About the role#
As a Retail Intern at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek, you will join the Retail and Guest Experience team during the holiday season. Reporting to the Clienteling Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in an ultra-luxury hotel environment. You will support the delivery of personalized shopping experiences and learn about luxury partnerships, inventory management, and event execution.
What you'll do#
- Build knowledge of luxury retail partnerships, product collections, and seasonal offerings.
- Provide personalized shopping experiences through consultative selling.
- Manage point-of-sale operations, inventory control, and stock replenishment.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure displays remain polished and guest-ready.
- Prepare purchases to luxury packaging standards, including gift reservations and shipping coordination.
- Assist with holiday events, partner activations, pop-ups, and VIP gifting.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Concierge, Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping, and Food and Beverage.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a hospitality, retail, merchandising, or marketing program.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, service-oriented demeanor.
- Professional presentation and the ability to interact comfortably with guests and management.
- Previous experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with retail POS and inventory systems is a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds.
