About the role#
The Safety Intern role is a paid, 12-week summer program based in Sacramento. You will work on-site at active construction projects, supporting our safety initiatives and learning how we manage health, safety, and environmental programs. This is a full-time position designed to give you direct experience in the electrical construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives.
- Work closely with HSE Specialists and project teams on-site.
- Gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations.
- Apply your classroom learning to real-world construction environments.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later, with rising junior or senior status preferred.
- Ability to spend significant time on active construction sites.
- Strong work ethic, accountability, coachability, and curiosity.
- Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively with others.
- Prior construction or safety-related internship experience is a plus.
