About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027. You will work on active construction projects alongside experienced safety professionals. The program provides hands-on experience with health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations while you build a foundation for a career in construction safety.
What you'll do#
- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives.
- Work closely with HSE Specialists and project teams.
- Gain direct exposure to safety programs and environmental regulations.
- Contribute to work that supports a strong safety culture.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field such as Public Health or Occupational Health and Safety.
- We strongly prefer students with rising junior or rising senior status.
- You must be able to spend approximately 80% of your time on active construction sites.
- Prior construction or safety-related internship experience is a plus.

- This role is on-site at active construction projects in Abilene, Pflugerville, El Paso, or Childress, Texas.
- This is a paid, full-time position for the summer of 2027.
