About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based in Meridian, Mississippi. You will work directly with HSE Specialists and project teams to support active construction projects. This role focuses on applying classroom knowledge to real-world safety initiatives and building a foundation for a career in construction safety.
What you'll do#
- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives.
- Gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations.
- Collaborate with HSE Specialists and project teams to maintain a strong safety culture.
- Spend approximately 80% of your time on active construction sites.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field such as Occupational Health and Safety or Public Health.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Rising junior or rising senior status is strongly preferred.
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions on active job sites.
- Prior construction or safety-related internship experience is a plus.
