About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship for students interested in the electrical construction industry. You will spend 12 weeks gaining hands-on experience while working alongside industry professionals. The program focuses on applying your academic background to real-world construction systems and processes.
What you'll do#
- Contribute directly to active construction projects.
- Take ownership of meaningful tasks and assignments.
- Apply your classroom learning to electrical construction systems.
- Collaborate with teams in project management, engineering, BIM, estimating, and procurement.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Your field of study should align with construction, such as Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or an engineering discipline.
- You have a strong interest in applying technical knowledge to real-world projects.
- You possess strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
- You can manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
- You work well with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- You are proficient in, or willing to learn, Microsoft Office applications.
- Previous construction internship experience is a plus.

- This internship is located on-site in either Sterling, VA or Richmond, VA.
- The term for this role is Summer 2027.
