About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will work on-site to gain practical experience in health, safety, and environmental programs within the construction industry. This role involves working directly with HSE Specialists and project teams to support safety initiatives on active construction sites.
What you'll do#
- Support active construction projects and safety initiatives.
- Gain exposure to health, safety, and environmental programs, policies, and regulations.
- Apply classroom learning to real-world construction environments.
- Work alongside experienced safety professionals and project leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor or master degree program with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Academic focus in Public Health, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Rising junior or rising senior status is strongly preferred.
- Ability to spend approximately 80% of your time on active construction sites.
- Prior construction or safety internship experience is a plus.
