About the role#
This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work on real-life assignments within Test Engineering, Test Electrical and Mechanical Systems Engineering, Test Data and Control Systems Engineering, or Experimental Assembly and Instrumentation. Each project supports a specific business need with a direct link to our products and customers.
What you'll do#
- Assemble and test products at the system, sub-system, module, and component level.
- Collect and validate data to support design engineering teams and product design verification.
- Work with a manager and career coach to develop your skills.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to deliver project results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's program for Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Coursework in programming, electrical engineering, aerodynamics, aerospace systems design, or astrodynamics.
- Ability to interpret data and apply it to decision-making.
- Open-minded and curious approach to work.
- Willingness to work flexibly and travel between locations if required.
- Preferred experience includes blueprint interpretation, C or C++ coding, PLC programming, reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting industrial devices, and working with motors or variable frequency drives.
