About the role#
As a Team Relations Intern, you will gain hands-on HR experience while supporting the daily operations of the Team Relations team. You will assist with administrative duties and help facilitate various programs that support company team members and leadership.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Team Relations Specialists to support team members across the organization.
- Assist with orientation programs, volunteer events, and engagement activities.
- Manage HR documentation and monitor the Team Relations tracking mailbox.
- Help facilitate engagement meetings, including office hours, town halls, and stay interviews.
- Learn to manage and track unemployment claims.
- Answer basic questions from team members and leaders regarding ADA, FMLA, and other HR policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Previous internship or work experience in an HR environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic HR principles and an interest in pursuing HR certification are preferred.
