About the role#
Ohio Wesleyan University is hiring two student workers for the Human Resources department. You will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, students, and faculty. This is a part-time, on-site position for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty.
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries.
- Help students and employees complete new hire paperwork and I-9 documentation.
- Manage clerical tasks including filing, copying, scanning, and data entry.
- Pickup and distribute mail.
- Maintain the office supplies inventory.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Punctuality and dependability.
- Enrollment in Human Resources or Business Administration programs.
