    About the role#

    As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will support the Space Systems Division in the development of the Assembly, Integration, and Test sequence. You will serve as a primary communication node for design development and issue resolution regarding our satellites. This role is based in Long Beach, California, for the Winter 2027 term.

    What you'll do#

    • Work with a group of professionals to apply engineering concepts to real challenges.
    • Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to discuss your progress.
    • Participate in tech talks and connect with other interns and employees.
    • Collaborate with your team to solve technical issues.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
    • At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • At least 3 months of applied engineering experience.
    • Preference is given to candidates with a 3.5 GPA or higher and 6+ months of applied experience.
    • Experience with spacecraft hardware, test hardware, or developing and running test scripts is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Long Beach, California.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Commitment: Full-time for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in January, February, or March 2027.
    • Compensation: $28.00 per hour.
