About the role#
As an External Quality System Intern, you will join a team focused on maintaining high-quality products through external partnerships. You will work with mentors to support strategic projects and learn how the organization drives continuous improvement across the supply chain. This role provides hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality systems.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members on strategic and operational quality projects.
- Support initiatives to maintain product compliance, quality standards, and process improvement.
- Generate operational reports, presentations, and documentation for strategic planning.
- Partner with senior team members to identify process improvements and streamline daily operations.
- Gain exposure to quality tools, systems, and processes within the External Quality organization.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives to understand business strategy and collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with office productivity suites like MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Understanding of quality standards and compliance relevant to GxP suppliers.
- Basic knowledge of industry quality frameworks such as cGMP or ISO standards, or operational excellence concepts.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (12-month full-time internship).
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
