About the role#
Riverview Health is hiring a Student Nurse Tech to join our clinical team in Noblesville, Indiana. This is a part-time, on-site position. We are looking for nursing students who want to gain hands-on experience in a hospital setting.
What you'll do#
You will help with the daily care of patients, including hygiene, feeding, and comfort needs. Your tasks include taking vital signs, answering call lights, and assisting with patient transfers or range of motion exercises. You will also act as a sitter for patient observation when required.
Beyond direct care, you will handle clerical duties for the unit. This includes answering phones, screening visitors, filing, and typing reports. You will also help keep patient rooms tidy and maintain clinical supplies and equipment. Clear communication with patients, families, and the medical team is a core part of this role.
What you'll need#
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current, active enrollment in an accredited ASN or BSN program.
- Completion of at least one semester of clinicals.
- Basic Life Safety certification from the American Heart Association.
- One year of hospital experience is preferred.
