About the role#
Mercy Hospital St. Louis is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses who are currently pursuing an RN degree. This part-time position is designed for students who need to balance work with their education. You will gain acute care experience while working toward your goal of becoming a Registered Nurse.
What you'll do#
- Gain acute care experience in a hospital setting.
- Strengthen your clinical skills and bedside nursing practice.
- Build confidence by working alongside experienced nursing professionals.
- Balance your work schedule with your LPN-to-RN education.
- Care for diverse patient populations in areas such as neuroscience, observation, telemetry, and medical-surgical units.
What you'll need#
- A nursing degree from an accredited school.
- A current LPN license in the State of Missouri.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association.
- Active enrollment in an RN degree program.
