About the role#
REV Ambulance Group is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for our Winter Park, Florida location. This is a paid, part-time position with a maximum of 29 hours per week. You will work on-site between 6:00am and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
What you'll do#
You will help arrange mechanical details and create initial design layouts. Your work includes assisting with final layouts and working drawings. You will develop designs that are practical, technically sound, and meet specific performance, weight, and dimensional requirements.
What you'll need#
- A B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or be currently working toward this degree.
- Experience using Pro/Engineer, Creo, and AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Capability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Location & details#
- Location: Winter Park, FL.
- Work environment: Primarily an indoor office, with occasional time spent on the plant floor.
- Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, ear plugs, and closed-toed shoes.
