About the role#
As a Yield Technology Equipment Intern, you will work with optical, x-ray, profile, and eBeam equipment. You will help detect sources of variation in memory solutions. The goal is to learn about inspection equipment and develop new solutions for tool performance. You will be assigned a project to build your critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Throughout the term, you will collaborate with engineers across process control, data science, yield analysis, and metrology.
What you'll do#
- Review and analyze experimental process flows to find defect anomalies.
- Quarantine process tools that are out of control.
- Use inline process signals to drive process improvements.
- Work with new detection tools and inspection strategies to identify process issues.
- Build and improve techniques to identify relevant process issues.
- Investigate process anomalies and conduct root cause analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, or a related field.
- Must be a current student and not graduate before September 2027.
- Interest in creative problem solving and innovative solutions.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and correlations.
- Ability to investigate process anomalies and perform root cause analysis.
