About the role#
This internship provides administrative and technical support to the department. You will assist with daily operations and contribute to specific engineering projects throughout the summer of 2026. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Create file folders and organize documents.
- Retrieve and record phone messages.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Locate files for the department as requested.
- Create and revise drawings, installations, assemblies, and parts using AutoCad and SolidWorks.
- Assign part numbers to new components.
- Track time and assist with small special projects.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering, or Graphic Design.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivation and the ability to stay on task.
- Reliable attendance.
- Accounting skills are preferred.
