About the role#
As a Forward Deployed Engineer Intern, you will work at the intersection of our engineering team and our customers. This role focuses on building, testing, and deploying AI voice solutions for real-world use cases. You will not be working on side projects. Instead, you will ship code, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure our systems perform in production environments. You will also collaborate with our engineering team to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
What you'll do#
- Build and deploy technical solutions for real customer use cases.
- Join customer calls to understand their needs and turn them into technical requirements.
- Debug issues across APIs, integrations, data, and AI systems.
- Write and test code to get solutions into production.
- Identify patterns across deployments to help improve our core product.
- Take projects from an initial customer problem through to full deployment and iteration.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience programming in Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability to work through ambiguous technical problems.
- Genuine interest in AI systems.
- Clear communication skills and an interest in working directly with people.
- A track record of building projects, shipping software, or working on technical tasks outside of school.
- Ability to move quickly and take ownership of your work.
