About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will support experienced Field Engineers on renewable energy projects. This role involves shadowing operations and completing specific assignments that contribute to larger project goals. The internship lasts approximately 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Conduct safety walks to reinforce safe behaviors on site.
- Verify that field installations match engineered IFC drawings.
- Attend project meetings, take minutes, and distribute them to the team.
- Communicate with clients to maintain professional relationships.
- Operate a company-assigned vehicle safely in various road and weather conditions.
- Assist with project documentation and tracking tools like Procurement, RFI logs, and submittal logs.
- Help resolve technical issues at the field level.
What you'll need#
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are currently working toward a BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
- You hold a valid driver license.
- You are able to travel 76-100% of the time, which may include relocating out of state for the project duration.
- You can learn and navigate new software systems.
