About the role#
The Vehicle Systems and Integrated Test team acts as the engineering focal point for Terran R. You will work across teams to manage vehicle integration, define operations, and solve complex problems. This role requires balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints while keeping operability at the forefront of the design process.
What you'll do#
- Perform requirements decomposition and act as the systems integration function.
- Develop and maintain system and stage level Interface Control Documents.
- Drive systems through qualification, acceptance, and hotfire test campaigns by creating test objectives, matrices, and plans.
- Develop, manage, and execute operational plans and vehicle-level Concepts of Operations (CONOPs).
- Balance program risk through adjudication and mitigation planning.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Technical aptitude and a basic understanding of functional disciplines including mechanical, fluids, and electrical systems.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Long Beach, California.
- The role requires the ability to travel to test and launch sites.
- You may need to work shifted schedules or weekends for critical milestones.
