About the role#
Regal Boats is seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern to join the engineering team in Orlando. This role focuses on manufacturing process analysis and efficiency improvements. You will work on-site to help design and implement new processes across the plant.
What you'll do#
- Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate on the design, layout, and implementation of new processes.
- Write and revise Standard Operating Procedures.
- Collect and analyze operational data to identify root causes and solutions for current challenges.
- Update facility layouts, process maps, and workflow diagrams using CAD or similar tools.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and basic statistics.
- Ability to work well with teams and in close proximity to others.
- Willingness to follow all safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to understand and adhere to quality standards.
Location & details#
- Location: Orlando, Florida, USA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid position ($18-$22 per hour).
- Note: This role requires working in both office and factory environments that are not climate-controlled. You may be required to lift up to 50 pounds and wear personal protective equipment.
