About the role#
As a Manufacturing Associate Intern, you will join the TSMS team at our Elwood, Kansas manufacturing plant. This is a project-based role where you will contribute to technical work focused on improving processes and supporting operational excellence. You will work on-site during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn the Animal Health Manufacturing process and document your work using GMP guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process or Quality Control lab improvements.
- Study design improvement processes.
- Explore various areas including quality control, mAbs production, product recovery, product finishing, and companion animal packaging.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering degree program, specifically Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suites.
- A strong willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Elwood, Kansas.
- The internship runs from May 17th, 2027, to August 6th, 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
- You may be required to travel up to 10% of the time to our corporate facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
