About the role#
The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is looking for interns to support the integration and testing of complex hardware and software systems. You will work across the product lifecycle, from development and engineering testing to production and post-deployment support. This role requires collaboration across disciplines to ensure systems meet requirements and perform reliably in lab or field environments.
What you'll do#
- Integrate hardware and software components.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and perform functional analysis on real-world and test data.
- Debug system functions and interfaces while supporting troubleshooting and failure data analysis.
- Verify system requirements and support product qualification.
- Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and databases.
- Prepare and present technical reports and briefings to stakeholders.
- Participate in team meetings, working groups, and teleconferences.
- Support sustainment efforts, including depot returns and repair.
- Perform trade studies to support system improvements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in a STEM field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues through coursework, research, or previous internships.
- Familiarity with common test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, as an active and transferable clearance is required prior to the start date.

- This is an on-site position based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
- Test event support may require up to 20% travel.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
