About the role#
The Systems Engineering Intern joins a cross-functional team in Burnsville, Minnesota, to design and develop aviation sensors and integrated systems. This role focuses on supporting the Integrated Air Data Systems product organization. You will work directly with engineers and project team members to troubleshoot technical issues and support in-service products.
What you'll do#
- Plan, document, and manage product requirements.
- Coordinate technical decisions across the team.
- Participate in the new product design cycle, including design reviews.
- Communicate project needs to leadership.
- Provide technical suggestions to the engineering team to meet customer needs.
- Support compliance with AS9100 and the Quality Management System.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a closely related STEM field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op.
- Active enrollment through the end of the co-op session.
- Familiarity with DOORS, Polarion ALM, and MATLAB/Simulink/StateFlow is strongly desired.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills are preferred.
- Prior internship, co-op, or aerospace-related experience is a plus.

- This is an on-site position based in Burnsville, Minnesota.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
