    About the role#

    The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, is looking for interns to support the full product lifecycle. You will work on integrating hardware and software, developing test plans, and verifying system requirements. This role offers exposure to various aspects of system development, from initial program testing to final sell-off and sustainment.

    What you'll do#

    • Integrate hardware and software systems and debug functions.
    • Support engineering activities including testing, troubleshooting, and failure data analysis.
    • Exercise systems in lab or field environments to measure and analyze performance.
    • Conduct trade studies and functional analysis of test data.
    • Maintain engineering specifications, drawings, and databases.
    • Prepare and present results through reports and briefings.
    • Participate in team meetings and support root cause and corrective action processes.
    • Assist with product qualification and sustainment activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Advanced degree program in a STEM field, with at least 60 credit hours completed by the start date.
    • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret level).
    • U.S. citizenship.
    • Experience troubleshooting technical issues through coursework, research, or prior internships.
    • Familiarity with common test equipment like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
    • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, or software system integration.
    • Experience with C, C++, or C#.
    • Proficiency in MATLAB or Python scripting for data analysis.
    • Experience with electrical schematics and communications protocols.
    • Familiarity with military platforms such as aircraft or ground combat systems is a plus.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, on-site position based in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
    • Test event support may require travel, not expected to exceed 20% of the time.
