    About the role#

    This is a full-time Structural Engineering Co-op position based in Jamestown, North Dakota. The role runs through the Summer and Fall of 2027. You will work on-site, Monday through Friday, and are expected to take a semester off from coursework to focus on this mentorship opportunity. U.S. citizenship is required for this role.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform basic structural analysis under the guidance of stress engineers.
    • Apply classical analysis and finite element analysis methods to demonstrate the integrity of cargo handling products.
    • Support the generation of component applied loads and aircraft interface loads.
    • Create structural analysis documentation to support product certification.
    • Assist with structural testing for product certification.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.
    • Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the co-op.
    • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD, Autodesk, or Catia.
    • Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis, specifically ANSYS.
    • Completed coursework in Statics and Mechanics of Materials.
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
