About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within the Raytheon Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality department. You will work with the Program Management Office, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams. This role requires managing multiple priorities and collaborating with various functions to support procurement goals.
What you'll do#
- Place or support purchase orders of low to medium dollar levels and complexity.
- Manage supplier relationships, development, and performance.
- Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ documents.
- Analyze quotations and proposals using cost analysis techniques.
- Drive performance against key metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, Economics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience with supply chain processes, tools, and Microsoft Office.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a focus in Supply Chain or Business Management, experience in a defense contracting environment, and familiarity with SAP or PRISM software.
