About the role#
This is a full-time Engineering Services internship for Summer 2027 based in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. This role is strictly on-site. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate engineering inputs to ensure they meet drafting standards and product structure requirements.
- Check daily inputs for compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.
- Provide guidance to departments and management to resolve technical issues.
- Sequence engineering changes into product structures to prevent production delays.
- Lead internal and external meetings to share project status and technical metrics.
- Manage process analysis metrics and track turn backs.
- Write and update standard work documentation.
- Oversee critical action lists and ensure tasks are completed by priority.
- Support audits and assist with necessary corrective actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to remain enrolled through the end of the internship.
- Experience with CAD software such as NX, SolidWorks, Creo, or Catia.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exposure to engineering change processes and manufacturing workflows.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
