About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides direct exposure to Sales and Sales Planning functions at Randa Apparel & Accessories. You will work alongside our teams to understand the fundamentals of retail and wholesale business operations. You will also complete a group project, guided by a mentor, and present your findings to company leadership during your final week.
What you'll do#
- Shadow sales team members in their daily responsibilities.
- Manage samples, including maintaining assortment boards and handling PP/TOP samples.
- Assist with pulling reports and samples for internal and customer meetings.
- Work with the sales team to manage purchase order activity across customers and categories.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Department.
- Gain exposure to OTB and inventory management processes.
- Learn the basics of forecasting and projections for product categories.
- Attend weekly meetings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Business Administration or Sales.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work on-site, Monday through Friday, for the full 10-week duration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfort working in collaborative, team-based settings.
