About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides exposure to demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and business analytics. You will work with the Demand and Inventory Planning team to learn the basics of retail and wholesale operations. The program includes a group project where you will receive mentorship and coaching, culminating in a final presentation of your findings to company leadership.
What you'll do#
- Learn the fundamentals of forecasting and inventory planning.
- Analyze statistical forecast models within the supply chain planning system.
- Build and review inventory reports to identify low-volume SKUs.
- Create and review aged inventory reports to assist the sales team with selling strategies.
- Participate in internal meetings and cross-functional projects.
- Complete a group project and present a solution or recommendation to company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current major in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Mathematics.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Farmers Branch, Texas.
- Schedule: On-site, Monday through Thursday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) and Friday (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
