About the role#
This 10-week internship program immerses you in our Merchandising division. You will gain exposure to the fundamentals of retail and wholesale businesses while working alongside our design and merchandising teams. Interns receive mentorship throughout the program and will collaborate on a group project, which is presented to leadership during the final week.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to develop seasonal product lines.
- Review selling reports and study the retail market to identify new product opportunities.
- Assist with line sheet creation and prepare samples for customer and licensor meetings.
- Enter product specifications into our Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) system.
- Manage development samples by checking them in and keeping them organized.
- Communicate directly with international suppliers via email on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Marketing, or Business.
- A minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday for the full 10-week duration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving and learning.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Ability to work well in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York.
- Duration: June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
