About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program introduces you to demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and business analytics. You will work directly with the planning team to understand the fundamentals of retail and wholesale operations. This is an on-site role based in Chicago.
What you'll do#
- Learn the basics of forecasting and inventory planning for product categories.
- Analyze statistical forecast models within the supply chain planning system.
- Build and review inventory reports to identify low-volume SKUs.
- Create aged inventory reports and partner with the sales team to develop selling strategies.
- Participate in internal meetings and cross-functional projects.
- Complete a group project with a mentor and present your recommendations to company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current student pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or Mathematics.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using Excel.
- Ability to manage your time and work independently.
- Clear verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
