About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides hands-on experience within our Merchandising division. You will work alongside our design and merchandising teams to learn the fundamentals of retail and wholesale business. You will also complete a group project, presented to company leadership in your final week, focused on researching and recommending solutions for business opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to build seasonal product lines.
- Analyze selling reports and research retail trends to find new product opportunities.
- Prepare line sheets and samples for meetings with customers and licensors.
- Input product specifications into our Product Lifestyle Management (PLM) system.
- Manage development samples by checking them in and keeping them organized.
- Communicate daily with international suppliers via email.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Marketing, or Business.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday for the full 10-week duration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a collaborative team environment.
Location & details#
- Location: Farmers Branch, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Compensation: $20.00 per hour.
