    About the role#

    Rainmaker Technology Corporation is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join the engineering team in El Segundo, California. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship for computer science students interested in building operational software and data platforms for weather modification. The role operates on a rolling basis.

    What you'll do#

    • Build and improve data workflows for in-situ, remote, and drone telemetry data.
    • Support APIs, software packages, and operational tools.
    • Transform raw data into reliable internal products.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Computer Science degree program.
    • Strong Python fundamentals.
    • Experience working with data, APIs, and SQL.
    • Interest in geospatial, atmospheric, or sensor data.
    • Strong debugging skills and the ability to work across different systems.
    • Ability to work autonomously and flexibly.
