About the role#
Ragle Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position provides hands-on experience across several HR functions while working with our HR and Talent Acquisition teams. You will gain insight into how human resources supports employees within a heavy civil construction company.
What you'll do#
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation materials, and employee communications.
- Maintain and organize employee files, electronic records, and HR documentation.
- Support HR audits, data entry, record accuracy, and document retention projects.
- Process employee status changes and other lifecycle documentation.
- Coordinate employee appreciation events, recognition programs, and engagement activities.
- Prepare internal communications, presentations, and HR resource materials.
- Support interview scheduling, candidate communications, career fairs, and recruiting events.
- Manage HR spreadsheets, trackers, and reports.
- Assist with special HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team while maintaining strict confidentiality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Basic Excel experience, including formulas and data organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or office environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with HR concepts or business operations is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: North Richland Hills, Texas.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) for 10 weeks.
- Pay: $21.50 per hour.
- Housing: Provided for eligible interns.
- Work Modality: On-site.
