About the role#
QuikTrip is seeking students for a 90-day Facilities Support Internship in Denver. This role provides hands-on experience with HVAC-R systems and retail equipment through mentorship and field work. Interns work alongside experienced technicians to gain exposure to service operations in a retail environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in onboarding and basic technical training.
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and various retail equipment under supervision.
- Join ride-along mentoring days with experienced technicians.
- Maintain accurate service records and follow all safety protocols.
- Report directly to an assigned QuikTrip Supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary HVAC program, with at least 16 weeks or four classes completed.
- Possession of a Section 608 Technician Certification (EPA 608 License).
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance meeting state minimum requirements.
- Commitment to following safety protocols and supervisor instructions.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2026.
- Modality: On-site at various store locations.
- Compensation: $23.33 per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time or full-time, up to 40 hours per week, coordinated around school commitments.
