Facility Support Intern

About the role#

QuikTrip is seeking motivated HVAC students for a 90-day internship program based in Denver. This role provides hands-on technical experience, mentorship from experienced technicians, and exposure to real-world service operations within a major retail organization. Interns will work on commercial HVAC-R systems and retail equipment across various store locations.

What you'll do#

• Participate in onboarding and basic technical training.
• Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and various retail equipment under the supervision of experienced technicians.
• Join ride-along mentoring days to observe service operations.
• Maintain accurate service records while strictly following all safety protocols.
• Report directly to an assigned QuikTrip Supervisor.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled full- or part-time in an accredited post-secondary HVAC program.
• Completion of at least 16 weeks or the first four classes of an HVAC program.
• Possession of a Section 608 Technician Certification (EPA 608 License).
• Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
• Reliable transportation and valid automobile liability insurance meeting state minimum requirements.

• Term: Summer 2026.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $23.33 per hour.
• Schedule: Part-time or full-time availability, up to 40 hours per week, coordinated around school commitments.
