This internship provides hands-on experience in organizational development and effectiveness within the Human Resources function. You will partner with the Organizational Effectiveness & Belonging Center of Excellence to support leadership assessments, team effectiveness initiatives, and organizational design projects. The role focuses on bridging I/O psychology theory with real-world application to strengthen organizational culture and leadership behaviors.
What you'll do#
- Support the administration, coordination, and reporting for leadership assessments and personality profiles.
- Assist with team effectiveness workshops by preparing materials, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights.
- Contribute to organizational diagnostics by gathering and summarizing data related to culture, engagement, and performance.
- Support organizational design initiatives through research, documentation, and the development of toolkits and process templates.
- Enhance internal SharePoint resources, including site organization, knowledge-sharing content, and marketing materials.
- Create presentations, leadership reports, and communication assets for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct benchmarking and research on organizational development best practices and industry trends.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program (Master’s or Doctoral) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interest in organizational effectiveness, leadership development, team dynamics, and organizational design.
- Experience supporting projects, workshops, or research initiatives.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Strong process orientation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Familiarity with assessment tools, survey platforms, or data visualization tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Secaucus, New Jersey.
- Modality: On-site (at least 1 day per week).
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship ($32-35/hour).
