About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will join our team for the Summer 2027 term. This position provides exposure to global tax practices and allows you to contribute to client projects while developing your professional skills. You will work on-site in Washington, DC, and focus on learning through hands-on assignments and research.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Help with corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
- Engage in tax modeling and consulting projects.
- Contribute to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration tasks.
- Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements.
- Research tax regulations and industry-specific tax issues.
- Use AI tools to create efficiencies in your work.
- Actively listen, accept feedback, and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Juris Doctorate degree.
- A commitment to take and pass the Bar exam.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of consolidated tax returns and corporate transactions.
- Intellectual curiosity regarding tax and finance integration.
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA.
- Ability to communicate effectively and listen actively.
