About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will work within our tax practice to support teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies. This role provides exposure to the complexities of tax law and offers the chance to contribute to projects that help clients manage tax positions and compliance. You will work on a variety of assignments, ask questions, and take initiative to produce quality work for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Participate in the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Assist in corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
- Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address specific client tax challenges.
- Contribute to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration projects.
- Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements to facilitate transactions.
- Conduct research on tax regulations and industry-specific tax issues.
- Apply intellectual curiosity to explore tax solutions.
- Actively listen and accept feedback to improve your work.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
- A commitment to undertaking and passing the Bar exam before starting full-time.
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity.
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate within diverse environments.
