About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join the Operations and Procurement team within our Consulting practice in Edmonton. You will work alongside practitioners across various industries to help clients address complex business challenges. This role involves exploring business operations and learning how trust is built through compliance and strategic planning.
What you'll do#
- Gain hands-on experience by working on real client projects.
- Assist teams in driving innovation, reducing costs, and improving operational flexibility.
- Participate in meetings with firm leadership, skill-building workshops, and client visits.
- Engage in volunteer and social events with the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the third year of an engineering or business university degree program.
- A basic understanding of business management principles, operational efficiencies, and risk management.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Experience with research and data gathering from various sources.
- Ability to quickly prioritize and coordinate tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Experience in the financial or government sector is an asset, though not required.
- Authorization to work in Canada for the duration of the internship.
