About the role#
As a Digital Assurance and Transparency intern, you will join our Assurance practice in Columbus. You will support audit teams by participating in projects, conducting research, and performing tasks that contribute to team goals. This role provides exposure to our audit methodologies and professional work environment. You will work on various assignments, observe experienced auditors, and build your skills through hands-on practice.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams by executing digital assurance tasks.
- Assist in applying auditing methodologies to improve the accuracy of assessments.
- Participate in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit purposes.
- Apply cloud engineering principles to help optimize audit processes and data management.
- Gather and analyze data to identify patterns and support audit conclusions.
- Contribute to the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Collaborate with team members to address compliance challenges.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
- Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Must meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam or for licensure as a CISA before starting full-time.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site internship based in Columbus, Ohio.
- The term is Summer 2027.
- This position is full-time and paid.
- Travel requirements are up to 20 percent.
