About the role#
As a Digital Assurance and Transparency intern, you will join our Assurance practice in Cincinnati. This role provides exposure to our methodologies while you support audit teams on client projects. You will learn how we maintain integrity and compliance in financial reporting. This is a hands-on learning environment where you will observe experienced professionals and contribute to team objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams by executing digital assurance tasks.
- Evaluate financial reporting processes to help maintain transparency and compliance.
- Perform research and data analysis to support audit findings.
- Apply cloud engineering principles to improve data management and audit processes.
- Help develop and test artificial intelligence platforms for audit automation.
- Collaborate with team members to identify risks in financial reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Progress toward meeting the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam or CISA licensure before starting full-time employment.
- Standing as a third-year student in a four-year program or a fourth-year student in a five-year program.
