About the role#
This 8-month co-op position for Winter 2027 offers an opportunity to join the Risk Services practice. You will work within the Data Enablement team to support business partners through data-driven insights. The role focuses on building controls, processes, and structures that allow clients to make informed, data-backed decisions.
What you'll do#
- Build a strong understanding of commonly used client information systems and ERPs.
- Develop automated solutions to address problems encountered by engagement teams.
- Engage with clients in specialized assurance tasks using advanced data analysis and automation.
- Test key client reports and ERP system conversions.
- Create Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pipelines.
- Help clients manage their data and ensure information reliability.
- Work with clients to set up and optimize processes for acquiring datasets.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a program such as Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or Cybersecurity.
- Motivation to learn technologies, IT practices, IT control frameworks, and security best practices.
- Interest in learning programming languages like Python and SQL, as well as data platforms like Databricks.
- Ability to analyze the impact of data and IT risks on organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively both independently and within a team.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $58,000 - $68,000 salary range, plus performance pay programs.
