About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op position within the Risk Services practice at PwC. You will work as part of a team to support data-driven decision-making for clients. This role focuses on using technology to improve audit processes, manage data reliability, and solve complex business problems. You will gain hands-on experience with data analysis and automation while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Build an understanding of client information systems to develop automated solutions for engagement teams.
- Engage in specialized assurance tasks, such as testing key client reports and ERP system conversions.
- Create Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) pipelines to support data-driven insights.
- Help clients manage and optimize the acquisition of datasets used for audits.
- Implement technology for data extraction and transformation to support end-to-end automation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills.
- Motivation to learn IT practices, security standards, and control frameworks.
- Interest in learning programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
