About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice for the Summer 2027 term. This role offers an introduction to financial statement audits. You will work alongside experienced auditors to observe professional environments and gain practical experience with auditing methodologies. This is a full-time, paid internship based in Stamford, Connecticut.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams during financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to help ensure transparency and compliance.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to spot trends.
- Document audit processes and findings to keep records organized.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify potential areas for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
- Status as a student typically in the third year of a four-year degree or the fourth year of a five-year program.
