    About the role#

    The Rotational Engineering Co-Op program provides hands-on experience across automation and control engineering. Over 18 to 24 months, you will rotate through three core areas: Panel Shop and Field Services, Applications Projects and Upgrades, and Advanced Automation Services. This program builds expertise in hardware, electrical systems, software, and field engineering through immersive training and real-world problem-solving.

    What you'll do#

    • Build and wire electrical control panels while mastering schematics, precision wiring, and quality testing.
    • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting at customer sites.
    • Support system upgrades and project execution from design through commissioning.
    • Design, implement, and optimize control systems.
    • Interpret automation documentation and configure DeltaV systems.
    • Optimize control system performance through alarm rationalization.
    • Design high-performance human machine interfaces and develop advanced visualization techniques.
    • Create digital twin operator training simulations.
    • Collaborate with sales professionals to identify customer needs and develop technical solutions.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program.
    • Status as a sophomore on track to begin your junior year.
    • A minimum 2.8 GPA.
    • Major in Chemical, Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering.

    Location & details#

    • This role is based in Stafford, Texas.
    • The work is on-site.
    • This is a full-time, paid position.
    • The program terms are Fall 2027, Summer 2028, and Spring 2029.
