About the role#
As a Legal, Risk and Compliance Intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will gain exposure to core business processes within the financial services, technology, and healthcare industries. This role offers the opportunity to develop your technical and professional capabilities while working alongside experienced team members in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.
- Work within internal control and risk frameworks, as well as regulator and compliance methodologies.
- Develop key deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries.
- Review transactions to provide process improvement recommendations.
- Address legal, risk, and compliance challenges across segments such as financial crime, anti-money laundering, risk management, credit services, regulatory compliance, and analytics.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a degree program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Juris Doctor) in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or Statistics.
- Expected to graduate within 12 months after the internship concludes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Minimum age of 18 at the time of the internship.
- Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to apply critical thinking.
