About the role#
As a Legal, Risk and Compliance Intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will gain exposure to core business processes within the financial services, technology, and healthcare sectors. This role provides an opportunity to develop your technical and professional capabilities while working alongside experienced team members in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.
- Develop key project deliverables, including process flows, work programs, reports, and control summaries.
- Review transactions to provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Address legal, risk, and compliance challenges as they arise.
- Work within internal control and risk frameworks.
- Engage across various segments, including financial crime, anti-money laundering, risk management, credit services, regulatory compliance, consumer protection, analytics, and legal consulting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Juris Doctor degree program in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Mathematics, Criminal Justice, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or Statistics.
- Expected graduation within 12 months of completing the internship.
- Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Technical proficiency aligned with your assigned capability area.
