About the role#
As an Internal Audit and Financial Advisory intern, you will work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will gain experience across different industries while developing your technical and professional capabilities. We focus on building your leadership qualities to prepare you for future success. You will be hired into either Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with your team to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.
- Participate in onboarding and experiential learning courses, including Liftoff with Protiviti and The Intern Challenge.
- Engage in internal initiatives, committees, and employee network groups.
- Receive hands-on training and project assignments that support your career growth.
- Gain exposure to business operations, consulting, data, and technology innovation.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected to graduate within 12 months after completing the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Technical proficiency relevant to your assigned capability area.
Location & details#
- Location: New York City, New York.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, involving a mix of in-person work in local offices or at client sites and remote work.
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: $28 to $38 per hour.
